Gmail offers a very generous amount of email storage; currently it's at about 7GB. Amazingly though, I know quite a few Gmail users who are approaching that number, are you one of them? If so, you can pay Google and they'll give you more space, but do you want to do that? Heck no! Another option is to do some housecleaning and start deleting old messages, but that can be tedious and take a lot of time.
