T-Mobile’s Best Android phone

T-Mobile G2 with Google Android Phone (T-Mobile)Best Android phone T-Mobile, and Android smartphone best in America,  T-Mobile G2x with Google, get things right by keeping them simple. Meanwhile, another boat Android T-Mobile phones still have their advantages, smooth, fast, and elegant G2x offer the best experience around, earning it our Editors Choice.

Physical features and Voice Calls
Other mobile phone rather distinguished one black plate, 5-ounce G2x action 4.9 by 2.5 by 0.4 inches (HWD). It feels solid in the hand, with soft-touch plastic panel back with silver metal point stripe running down its length. The front is dominated by, a sharp bright screen 4-inch, 800-by-400. In an era of 960-by-540 display, the screen resolution is not very high here. However, during testing, I do not miss the extra pixels, say, Atrix Motorola ($ 199, 4 stars). Resolution little weird (400 pixels wide instead of 480) did not seem to make problems for application compatibility, either. Gorilla Glass enclosed screen slightly curved, and looks very bright and rich.

The phone sounds good, which G2x not perfect, but it's okay. This earpiece is loud and clear, although there is no in-ear feedback of your own voice to prevent "cell yell." I heard some background noise in the transmission messed up, but not all that much, I can still hear my own voice at the other end of the call is recorded. The speakerphone is loud enough. The phone is connected to my headset Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Era  is easy to voice calls.

The handset connects to T-Mobile 2G and 3G networks, and 3G networks overseas. T-Mobile calls this phone "4G," but it's wrong, as G2x using HSPA + 4.14, fast system, but one that executives own T-Mobile said in another context is not 4G. With Ookla speedtest application, I can achieve faster speeds in the G2x, but not fast enough as we saw at the Samsung 4G Galaxy S, which is actually a 4G handset. However, though, peaks 5.6Mbps down and 1.5Mbps up no sneeze at, and feels very fast. This phone can also be used as Wi-Fi hotspots, with the right service plan.

There is one potential problem, though. While G2x has approximately the same RF reception like the Samsung 4G Galaxy S, sometimes fell very sharply from 2G 4G in my tests, something other reviews are also noted. It has not been seen if this is the problem of network or device. The battery is equivalent to other smartphones most of its kind, at 6 hours, 35 minutes of talk time and about one day of use.

OS and Apps
The G2x run "stock Android," which should get updated more quickly than other varieties of Android. But that does not seem to happen here. Instead of running the new Android 2.3, which G2x run the more popular version 2.2, with updates promised in the near future. The average consumer should not mind, though, I do not see many interesting differences between 2.2 and 2.3. The interface is smooth and clean, inviting user customization. This variety of Android is more adapted to expert users of HTC, for example, which comes loaded with widgets that are useful for beginners.

Nvidia Tegra 2 processor provides excellent performance. The G2x refer the same with Atrix Motorola, which uses the same chip, except for a higher yield on Neocore graphics / gaming benchmarks. But G2x feel faster at all, probably because performance was not dragged by the proprietary software that extra at Atrix. Menus and icons, in particular, scroll very fast on this phone.
I was very impressed with the ability to multitask G2x without delay. (Surprise! This dual core.) During the test, I downloaded large files while checking e-mail, for example. And, especially, hiccups G2x and never ever fall in one week of use. That's a big differentiator from the more ambitious, but somewhat buggy devices like Motorola Atrix.

LG, T-Mobile, and Nvidia adds several useful applications. Nvidia's Tegra came Zone, a mini application that stores company spotlights the best quality games. That's a good idea, but the selection is very slim now. LG brings SmartShare, which is a DLNA client streaming, along with the Zinio magazine reader. T-Mobile provides Wi-Fi calls. But in general, there is very little bloatware here. As the Android phone, also G2x 125 000-plus run applications on the Android Market. I downloaded a lot, and do not have a problem with one of them.

Media and Conclusion
Media playback is a big deal here, and G2x is one of the best ever mobile media. Features killer phone, thanks to two Tegra chipset, is the HDMI mirroring. Everything you see on the screen phone, including copy protected content and Internet streams, can be pumped out to an HDTV.
The experience started out a bit awkward, with some clippings portrait-format screen phone menus on the TV screen-shaped landscape. But once you fill in some landscape-formatted content (movies, or TV streaming, or game) just looks beautiful.

Video played beautifully on the phone itself as well, in any format that we have not protected and at resolutions up to 1080p (although scaled down on the phone screen, of course.) Music, also in all the typical formats, sounds fine through cable or Bluetooth headset . There 5.4GB built-in memory to store your media, along with a MicroSD card slot under the back cover, which works well with our 32GB SanDisk card.

It G2x has 8-megapixel camera with video recording 1080p. In practice, the video recording which works better at 720p. I found the video to 1080p to be a little jerky when played back on my Macbook Pro, and a video is missing the first few seconds. The 720p videos I recorded, on the other hand, are flawless. And given that no other U.S. cell phone today even 1080p recording effort, I will give G2x pass for this.
Still pictures are decent, though the camera a bit slow to focus on average 0.9 seconds. With no dedicated camera button, you will want to pin the camera application to your home page. low-light images tend to be very rough and noisy than the vague, such as pumping ISO virtual phone to prevent blur caused by low shutter speeds. If I had to choose between noise and blur, I'll take the noise. There is also a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front G2x which will remain pretty much useless until someone writes a video chat software functional Android.

The G2x go up against a strong line of touch-screen Android on T-Mobile. There's Samsung 4G Galaxy S, with its fast modem 4G. There are T-Mobile MyTouch 4G (4.5 stars), the HTC Sense UI feels friendly and less cold than the cold black Android, shares in G2x. You also have the HTC HD7, a Windows Phone OS more easily approached from Android, but the application is much less and slower Internet connections. And, looming in the wings to come out this summer is the giant HTC Sensation, which sports a dual-core 1.2GHz processor is faster and the screen, larger higher-res.

However, G2x smartphone T-Mobile is a full-touch-screen the best carriers to offer now. It feels much faster and smoother than the S 4G Galaxy, as a slightly slower modem offset by beefier processor. It's also faster, and looks and feels more expensive than the 4G MyTouch. And Sensation HTC will not be out for months. So for now, slim and fast G2x Android experience the best that you can find.
